Dr Géza Wórum has been Ascent Resource’s chief geologist and project manager of Ascent's offshore Holland exploration activity since 2006. Previously with Geomega Ltd, a geophysical consultancy, he contributed to various Ascent projects in north-east Hungary and Switzerland as structural interpreter and prospect evaluator. Specialising in seismic interpretation structural modelling, geostatistics and various basin modelling techniques he has a PhD from Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam. He graduated as a geophysicist from Eötvös University in 1999.
