The first stage of the redevelopment of Ascent Resources Ripi Oilfield is the acquisition of a shallow hi-resolution 2-D seismic survey. Here, the productive horizons are clastic reservoirs within the flysh that overlies the carbonate platform that provides the reservoirs in the nearby Anagni/Fontana project. The new seismic, to be acquired in the 2nd Quarter 2010, is designed to image the reservoir units so that state-of-the-art wells can be drilled to efficiently produce the remaining oil.
