In conjunction with Ascent Resources Petişovci field area which is immediately adjacent across the Hungarian-Slovenian border, the Lovsázi project area is the main focus of Ascent Resources’ work programme in 2010.

3-D seismic is planned for acquisition April 2010 whereas already 3-D seismic has been acquired in the Petişovci and Ujfalu areas.

A substantial tight gas reserve is known to exist in the deeper part of both the Lovászi and Petişovci fields and in addition to the shallower conventional oil and gas reservoirs already known, the new seismic has revealed new exploration and appraisal targets in both shallow and deep horizons

Ascent interest: 50% in Lovászi/Ujfalu in Hungary

                           15.75% for Slovenia deep reservoirs

                             45% for Slovenia shallow reservoirs
