The Company confirms that its Annual Report for the year ended 31 December 2007 was posted to shareholders on 25 June 2008 and is also available on its website, along with the Company's most recent shareholder presentation, at www.ascentresources.co.uk. 

The Company would also like to announce that its Annual General Meeting will be held at the offices of Sprecher Grier Halberstam LLP, 5th Floor, One America Square, Crosswall, London EC3N 2SG on Tuesday 22nd July 2008 at 10 am.
