Ascent Resources plc, the AIM-traded oil and gas exploration and production company, confirms that its Annual Report for the year ended 31 December 2008 was posted to shareholders on 26 June 2008 and is also available on its website at www.ascentresources.co.uk.
The Company would also like to announce that its Annual General Meeting will be held at the offices of Sprecher Grier Halberstam LLP, 5th Floor, One America Square, Crosswall, London EC3N 2SG on Thursday 23rd July 2009 at 11 am.
